As for my teaching philosophy, well, I’m an ardent believer in the theory of making the learning adventure as fun, stimulating and challenging as possible. After Thailand, the next stop on my teaching journey saw me relocate to Daqing, China, where I was employed as a Senior Foreign Language Instructor, tasked with the responsibility of teaching IGCSE/IELTS courses to students between the ages of 14 – 16. During my time in Thailand, I served as the Head of the English Department at both schools, and was tasked with teaching Conversational English to children between the ages of 6 – 16. I am currently residing in Glasgow, Scotland, and am looking forward to starting my online teaching journey! As I previously mentioned, I have been a professional teacher for just over 10 years now, and am proud to say this has been the most fulfilling time, career wise, in my life! I began my teaching adventure in Thailand, where I lived and worked for 8 years, in two different international schools. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Glasgow University, Scotland, and a Master’s degree in Education (PGCE) from Sunderland University, England. I’m 38 years old, a dual national, (British/American) certified educator with over 10 years of teaching experience.
